How often should I replace my litter box (purchase a new one)?

Thanks for your question. We have some suggestions for litter boxes on our site depending on the age and size of your cat.

In general, the rule of thumb is 1 litter box per cat plus 1 and the litter box should be big enough for your cat to turn around in. Some cats like covered boxes, while others like uncovered boxes. If you provide 2 boxes, it might be an idea to provide a 1 covered and 1 uncovered.
