Experience

Before my consulting business Pets Behaving Badly became a full time job I worked in a variety of interesting animal-related jobs including research assistant and teaching roles in animal welfare and anthrozoology. I also worked as an education officer for an animal welfare charity. My work in my business is quite varied and includes consulting pet parents, industry, government and media regarding animal behaviour, training, management and welfare. I also work as a freelance writer and offer professional development seminars and workshops to people who work with animals. I'm frequently sought as a speaker and invited to conferences and events related to animal behaviour.

About

Animals have always been a part of my life and I've had many pets over the years. I've had a life-long love of animals and passion for animal behaviour and I always knew I wanted to work with animals. I feel so privileged to be able to do what I do as a career. Other than being completely obsessed with animals, I live with my husband, my two beautiful kids, a Border Collie called Lenny and three chooks called Dot, Maggie and Bella.
