I just started my two senior cats on Dr Marty's but have not heard any opinions regarding this diet. Is it healthy?

Hi Ann! Several members of our team have tested Dr. Marty's, so you can find both a written review and a video review of the food here: https://cats.com/dr-marty-unbiased-cat-food-review

Some of my personal thoughts on the product is that it's pricey but most freeze-dried foods are. My cats really seemed to love the multi-protein flavor. The brand has been around for a while now, so I'd be less concerned about it suddenly going out of stock than some brands like Primal. You can also get some decent deals with multiple bag orders.

If your cats like it, stick with it! I'd just recommend rehydrating it with water or broth (if you aren't already) to help keep your senior kitties hydrated. Keep an eye on their digestion, too. Some of Dr. Marty's recipes are a little higher in carbs than some freeze-dried options and some cats have a hard time digesting peas. If you notice an increase in gas or smelly stools, a lower carb recipe might be a better option.
