Recently started feeding raw cat food and was wondering if I put the frozen food in the microwave like in the video for around 35 seconds each meal (it remains frozen at all other times! trying to not leave a chance for parasites thawed in fridge) is this microwave time adequate for killing parasites like worms etc.

@murzbo According to research, microwaving food for 30-40 seconds cannot kill all the parasites. Even cooking the meat longer is not recommended because microwaves heat the food unevenly, allowing some parasites to survive. However, if you want to use the microwave to thaw meat, you can do it gently for a short period. Please make sure to warm the food slightly. Otherwise, you can use a warm water bath to minimize destroying essential nutrients during microwaving.
