I named my cat Zebrowski but call him Browski for short. My last other’s cats were named Gizmo (he was an older rescue and came with his name) and Chester I got him as a kitten and he kept jumping onto my sofa hence the name as another mane for a sofa is a chestfild,

My kitties are Cöttr, Kissa, Myaldr, Tonka, Missa, Rayne, and Rune. Cöttr and Kissa are mommy and daddy to the rest. We are of Nordic decent so I gave most Nordic names. Tonka is the only one not named nordically.

Picked the name Emanon (no name backwards), Emma for short. Read this somewhere years ago and it always stuck with me. It referred to the idea that no cat is truly owned and thus can never be claimed by a name. It now belongs to my adopted Manx kitty. She has Siamese markings and points but no tail and is the boldest cat I have ever owned; chasing her two much larger dog siblings around the house. My last cat, who passed away in 2020 at age 20, was named Tuk. He was a Maine Coon cross with wild hair that stuck out all over and my mother called him “that ugly kid”. Used the initials to give him his name. He finally grew into his hair and was beautiful.

I used to have a cat i named him mr. fluffy his father is my aunt’s cat named mr. meatball and his mother is feral unfortunately they both died a long time ago nobody knows how mr. meatball died but i’m pretty sure his mom got attacked by some large animal we actually rescued mr. fluffy one of his eyeballs got infected but we managed to save both him and his eye so he had both of his eyes but one of them he just couldn’t see out of unfortunately mr. fluffy was also born with health issues and they were getting worse overtime so he unfortunately had to get put to sleep when he was only five years old rip mr. fluffy 2018 rest in piece my sweet baby boy i’ll see you on the other side when i get there❤

Naming your cat is something everyone who owns a cat struggled with at least once. If you just got your cat, you can name it based off of these following things:

-Fur, fur length or colour. Like how people name their cats “Blacky” because it has some black patches, or “Garfield” based on the simple fact that their cat is orange. Also if the cat’s fur length is long, you may name it fluffy.

-Breed, Persian cat owners like to make their cat’s name something fancy, like Princess. Or if you have a Devon Rex, you could name it Rex, like the dinosaur.

-Behavior, like if your cat is happy, you could name it Happy. Or if you have a lazy cat, you can give it a lazy name. Like kitty.

That’s it. Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
