#1 Animonda Carny Beef + Codfish with Parsley Roots Cat Food Review

At one time, a large number of the Carny foods relied on beef as a staple in their cat foods. That has changed today. If you like Animonda Carny, your cat doesn’t have to go near beef ingredients. The brand has a diverse range of animal and fish proteins. That said, the Carny Beef & Codfish with Parsley Roots formula is one of their top-selling recipes.

All of the beef and cod in the food are 100 percent fresh. The food has 45 percent meat and 20 percent fish content. The beef includes named organ meats which are beneficial for cats, as well as muscle meat. This recipe contains no grains, soya, or sugar. It has no artificial colors or preservatives. And, it has natural taurine.

The cod in this food provides valuable omega-3 fatty acids which are good for your cat’s skin, coat, and heart function. Cod is also very easy for cats to digest.

This recipe is a complete food for cats between the ages of 1 and 6 years.

Carny Beef & Codfish with Parsley Roots cat food appears to be high in protein from meat and fish. It looks like a good wet cat food for adult cats.

#2 Animonda Carny Pure Turkey Single Protein Review

If you have a cat with sensitive digestion, you may find yourself looking for food that has a single source of protein. Animonda Carny offers three kinds of single protein wet foods that use a single animal protein. One food features chicken, one has beef, and one food uses turkey.

Carny Pure Turkey Single Protein cat food uses 100 percent fresh, meaty ingredients. It contains 68 percent turkey, including organ meats. The only meat protein it contains is turkey. It contains no grains, soya, or sugar. It has no artificial colors or preservatives.

This food is formulated for adult cats from 1 to 6 years of age.

This recipe does contain rapeseed oil (canola oil). Animonda states that rapeseed oil is a natural source of omega-3 fatty acid which is true. However, cats (like dogs) are not able to efficiently convert the alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) in seed and nut oils to something they can use. They need to get their fatty acids from meat and (even better) fish. The rapeseed oil in this food provides calories but it is unlikely to provide your cat with much in the way of omega-3 fatty acids.

Carny Pure Turkey Single Protein cat food could be beneficial for cats that need a single protein food. This is a complete food for adult cats.

My cat is very fussy she also has a sensitive stomach, she LOVES this food which I brought on chance as she’s not very keen on beef – by Amber reviewing Animonda Carny Adult on 16/10/18

I have 3 cats who are all fussy eaters,I bought this food for them and they absolutely love it so much they all lick their bowls clean – by Lotus Shephard reviewing Animonda Carny Adult on 01/12/18

Negative Reviews

I always bought a lot of Carny, various tastes, and my cat was very happy with, no problems at all. Now the tins come not tightened and I had to claim for. It happened 3 times. My cat had vomit after the first tin but only because I didn’t see immediately that the tin had lost the vacuum sealing. I hope that Zooplus will do something with the producer. – by Annarosa Ivaldi reviewing Animonda Carny Adult on 04/25/18

My two indoor cats love this food, but since they have been in this food my goodness they have the smelliest poops I have ever smelt! They are very normal poops so it’s not causing any digestive issues apart from the smell They have always been on a grain free diet and I have never had this problem before. I wonder if this for is too rich for them. It’s a shame as the cats always finish the food and if it wasn’t for the stink it would be a 5 star review! I guess its back to the old food which wasn’t so appetising for the cats. – by Molly Perrin reviewing Animonda Carny Adult on 12/06/15
